 CAN GOD FIT IN SCIENTIFIC STORY OF CREATION? LIKE A “GOD PARTICLE”??

BASICALLY, THIS BLOG IS ABOUT THE SO-CALLED TERM “GOD PARTICLE”. BUT WHAT EXACTLY IS THE GOD PARTICLE? DOES IT EXIST AROUND US OR IS MADE BY SOMEONE?      


WELL, GOD PARTICLE  IS ACTUALLY A “HIGGS BOSON PARTICLE”. IN FACT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TERM GOD. THEN WHY DO PEOPLE CALL IT AS GOD PARTICLE ? HENCE THE ANSWER IS A SILLY ONE.

IN 1993 WHEN THE AMERICAN PHYSICIST LEON LEDERMAN WAS WRITING A BOOK ABOUT A HIGGS BOSON PARTICLE HE EXAGGERATED  IT AS “THE GOD DAMN PARTICLE” AS THIS PARTICLE IS ACTUALLY MIND-BLOWING AND SURPRISING TOO. BUT AN EDITOR AS WELL AS PUBLISHERS DIDN’T  LET HIM PUBLISH THIS “GOD DAMN” WORD SO HE CHANGED IT INTO A “GOD PARTICLE”.


BUT IN FACT MANY SCIENTIST INCLUDING ‘PETER HIGGS’ HIMSELF, FROM WHOM THIS PARTICLE IS NAMED AFTER, DISLIKED THIS NAME. BUT I THINK IT'S NECESSARY TO KNOW THE EXACT REASON OF SOMETHING BEFORE YOU BELIEVE IN IT. SO I THOUGHT THIS TOPIC SHOULD BE EXPRESSED.

SO, MOVING BACK TO THIS GOD DAMN PARTICLE, THIS PARTICLE EXPLAINS HOW WE GOT OUR MASS IN OUR BODY OR HOW HUGE PLANETS GOT THEIR MASS FROM?



IMAGINE YOU ARE SLIDING OVER A HILL OF A SNOW. YOU ARE SET TO TAKE A SLIDE DOWN THE HILL. AND NOW YOU START MOVING DOWN, BUT WHEN YOU REACH AT THE END OF A HILL. YOU FOUND THAT YOU HAD SOME ICE IN YOUR BOOTS NOW, AND SO YOUR SOCKS ARE WET TOO. AS YOU WALK FURTHER, YOU START FEELING HEAVIER TO STEP FORWARD AS YOU APPARENTLY GET READY FOR YOUR MOMS SCOLDING.



EXACTLY LIKE THAT, JUST AFTER THE BIG BANG HAPPENED (THAT IS AFTER THE BIRTH OF OUR UNIVERSE) LOTS OF PHOTONS GOT RELEASED, WHEN THIS MASSLESS PARTICLE IN SPACE MOVED  FROM A PARTICULAR FIELD, IT CARRIES SOMETHING WITH IT THAT GIVES THAT PARTICLE SOME MASS AND THAT FIELD IS CALLED A HIGGS FIELD.




IMAGINE IF THIS FIELD DIDN’T EXISTED AFTER THE BIG BANG HAPPENED, WE WOULD NOT BE EXISTING TODAY AND NOT EVEN ANY OF THE PLANET OR A STAR OUT THERE IN SPACE.
THAT’S THE REASON ITS IMPORTANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT IT IN ORDER TO KNOW THE WORKING OF THE UNIVERSE.

TIME IS REAL WHEN WE CREATE IT IN OUR CONCIOUSNESS. OFCOURSE TIME GET SLOWER NEAR HEAVIER OBJECTS, AND FAST IN VACCUM. BUT STILL THE QUESTION REMAINS, WHAT IS EXACTLY TIME... ALL YOU GOTTA KNOW ABOUT CHANDRAYAAN-3 MISSION! After the unfortunate Chandrayaan-2 mission, ISRO is now ready to go off for another mission to the moon. India’s first mission to the moon was in 2008 called ‘Chandrayaan-1’. Among the countries including the Soviet Union, the United States, Japan, the European Space Agency, China, Luxembourg, Israel, Italy, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates, INDIA is also one of them competing in the race.
