HOW IT STARTED AT FIRST PLACE?
We know we live in 3-dimensional space, there are other planets out there, many stars revolving, and billions of galaxies that we didn't even know yet. But from where did this huge universe come from? Did anyone make this? Then how we came into existence?
Not asking this question is like not asking why and how do you exist in this world! If one believed that the universe has the beginning, then what happened before the beginning? What was God doing before the world was made?
Many people try to avoid it either by claiming that the universe didn't have the beginning or by maintaining that the origin of the universe did not lie within the realm of science but belonged to metaphysics or religion.
In my opinion, this is not the position any literate person should be in. If you are not curious about everything you just don't think beyond the 9 to 5 job or a business and beyond the ozone layer. Let's try to understand the beginning of the universe on the basis of science. It may be a task beyond our powers or understanding of our brain, but at least we should attempt to question our existence. Where do we come from?
That's where BIG BANG THEORY answers it. To explain it in simpler words, in infinite empty space back then there was a point intensely hot and infinitely dense mass, concentrated at a singularity, for an instance consider a deflated balloon and fill some bits of glitter paper pieces in it. Suddenly this concentrated matter got exploded wide into space…. just like when we blew the air into the balloon and the particles of paper just spread in the space inside the balloon randomly. This big explosion is called the big bang.
While this stage took place, clumps of mass were formed, and due to high velocity, they got spread more and more light-years away from each other. this is an event that happened over 13.8 billion years ago till the cosmos we know today. This all took place for a fraction of a second about 10^-32 seconds. That is infinitely small. But hopefully, the cosmos is not a PROCRASTINATOR like humans, right?. Hence, Within the first second of the beginning of the universe fundamental particles like protons, neutrons and electrons were formed (which are the eventual building blocks of everything we see today)
And here onwards our beautiful universe went on expanding and is still expanding now. Now the question is how and from where does gravity and timeline came from? I have been curious about this question since my existence. Well, some theories and astrophysicists claim that after the big bang, the intense force gave rise to the gravitational waves .well to talk about the origin of time philosophically, it exists since humans started linking events in history with a proper sequence for a better understanding of humans itself, nothing more
To conclude in the end, we do have some proof of this BIG BANG THEORY, where the Hubble telescope plays an impotent part in it. But it's still not enough to consider this theory as the only one to know the infancy of our cosmos. Here comes other theories – STEADY STATE THEORY or OSCILLATING UNIVERSE THEORY which are popular too.
We don't know exactly what happened while the big bang, and how much this theory is true. But rather than believing someone else created the cosmos is just not an answer. Stephen Hawking says "Because there is a thing called laws of physics the universe can and will create itself out of nothing". Here it makes sense to believe that everything comes out of nothingness. It depends on how consistent you are!
Remember the balloon we were blowing during the big bang started, just keep blowing it until your lungs support you… at last, it will burst out after a certain amount of time. This may happen with our universe too. We never know when our cosmos would collapse into a black hole or even a singularity.
Feel fortunate you humans! you are a precious group of atoms existing on a habitual rock, revolving around a hydrogen-helium illuminating ball, companied by many more celestial bodies.
Tell me in the comment section, what do you think about the origin of the universe? and what would happen at the end of the universe? and what is our role in this cosmos.
